Happy 4th of July. These young men became pirates for the day and used their map reading skills on a treasure hunt to find the treasure of the Black Rose! They guided Captain Heartless Harry and Evil Esther to the wreckage. Great job!!! Come enjoy some time on the water. We also saw eagles, seals and a porpoise.

A birthday celebration Wave Walker charters style. Catered appetizers were caprice tomatoes, artichoke & Spinach dip, followed by a charcuterie board & blueberry buckle. We saw seals, lots of eagles and menhaden.

Four lovely ladies on their annual outing. They enjoyed a narrated boat ride around Bartlett’s Island. Lunch was lobster and crab rolls or lobster and/or crab salads complete with blueberry buckle.

All tours depart from Wave Walker Cottage and Suite – 28 Wave Walker Lane in Surry. Guests should plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time. Evening tours can be chilly! Guests should be prepared with appropriate clothing.

All tours are subject to cancellation due to poor weather conditions. In the event of weather cancellations, all reservations can rebook or be fully reimbursed.

August 6: Night Sky Tour

​8:00pm – 10:00pm with astronomer Charlie Sawyer. Enjoy this fun and educational guided tour of the stars. Experience the breathtaking beauty of Maine Night Sky from offshore. $75/person, $50 for children under 12.

​10:00am – 12:00pm with Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas. $75/person. Enjoy a two-hour scenic ride with brunch! Menu to include lobster roll sliders, bite size crab quiche, sausage bites and blueberry muffins.

August 15: Lobster Roll Lunch

1:00 – 3:00 pm. $75 per person. Relax and take in the stunning views while enjoying freshly prepared lobster rolls, cole slaw and chips. Keep a sharp eye out for eagles, seals and porpoise! Your captain and mate – Donna and Phil Doyen are delighted to share their extensive local knowledge of Newbury Neck and Blue Hill Bay.



August 19: Oyster Tour

​12:00pm – 2:00pm. $75/person. Learn about the local aquaculture business while sampling oysters on the half shell paired with locally produced beverages and champagne. Oysters don’t get any fresher!

August 22: Full Moon Rise Tour –

​6:45pm – 9:45pm. Be prepared to be awe struck as the full moon rises above the majestic landscape of Acadia. $75/person. Price includes signature cocktails/mocktails and hors d’oeuvres. This tour is very popular!







August 27: Lobster Roll Lunch

Back by popular demand! If you missed this trip on the 15th, now’s your opportunity to indulge in the best lobster rolls Maine has to offer, views second to none, and local knowledge from Newbury Neck’s very own Captain Phil Doyen and mate Donna.





August 28: Chinese Dinner with Chef Lu

5:00 pm – 7:00 pm – Come with an appetite! Legendary Chef Lu will prepare authentic Chinese food inspired by local, seasonal ingredients (like lobster!) Her menu this month is: Golden pan fried veggie and egg dumplings, Tofu and cucumber salad with wild Maine blueberries, General Tsao’s chicken topped with freshly picked Maine Crabmeat, Sauteed LOBSTER stir fry with white rice. Chef Lu is a little gal with a big personality that will delight you as much as her food satisfies. $80 per person.
