Murphy & Gunn BMW is pleased to sponsor Ireland's most prestigious Criterium Race, the Stephen Roche GP for the second year. This year, the action took place on Wednesday, June 20th.

The Stephen Roche GP is Ireland's most prestigious criterium race, running annually since 1988. The challenging but spectator-friendly circuit invariably produces great racing action for the crowd lining the roadsides and congregated in the central green area. The 1.3km loop is located in the housing estate where no less than three of the Roche family took their first tentative pedal strokes on the road to Tour de France glory.

Established as one of the 'must do' events on the Leinster racing calendar, the Roche Grand Prix traditionally boasts a who's who of Irish road racing talent with the top short circuit racers in the country doing battle for one of local racing's most prestigious trophies.

Congratulations to all youth winners, and Lydia Boylan (WNT-Rotor) and Alexis Roche (Côtes d'Armor) in the senior events.

Wicklow 100 social!

Great day in the mountains!
Plenty of activity with John Condren constantly up the road.
Great feed zone in Laragh with Team back up by B2R Paul OConner in van sorting out Barry Jones major mechanical of a faulty zip in his Gillet.
On the climb out of Laragh John Griffin lost the key of his Volvo while going for a gel.
Sean Mahon suggested that it wasn't worth looking for! A
Big climb out of Avoca.
Enda Smith nearly caused a pile up with his one liners!
Strong pace all the way back to Greystones, nearly all coming in together.
Super weather, great company and well organised event.

Club launch in Marbella!
19 members and counting.
Great spin110k from the Pirili. Police stopped the traffic for photos to be taken!
Tour de France de France top Spanish Confidas Rider from Marbella,Mate was putting the locals under serious pressure on the front all the way to Sotogrande.
Very windy and the bunch split.
Club groupo serman were very strong and put a relentless attack on the bunch right away from Marbella . Average bunch speeds of over 55kph at times.
Very strong wind after the turn in Guadiaro all the way home.
Real treat to ride with Spanish hero Mate.
His Father now rides for Murphy and Gunn!!!
