Born in Newcastle, but lurking everywhere, Twenty Seven Productions produce immersive, engaging and often site specific/responsive work of the highest quality all over the UK. With the "LIVE" strand of the company focusing on live theatre, we look at the multi layered historical DNA of a place and area, and through deep exploration, are able to develop a lost story or hidden past. lutely key for the way we work, as we engage with the property and reflect what happened there long before any of us were. Audiences all experience something different from one another, engaging with the space further and in doing so, challenge what theatre is perceived to be. The "FILM" side of Twenty Seven has taken the company to International Film Festivals with our first ever project, "The Sanctuary", and continues to develop short and feature length work alongside Linton Pictures.

We are really excited to have several amazing actors attending the table read for Twenty Seven Productions this week.

After the success of Steel & Iron, Katie Gibson has wasted no time in developing the next project which highlights some very important themes, which we all support.

Our actors amongst other amazing talent (actors and crew) will meet up to thrash out the latest draft of this wonderful script for further development…

Yesterday something happened.

Victoria Gibson at Twenty Seven Productions invited a handful of people to an early development meeting of something very very special.

The room was filled with ideas, positive feedback and a real buzz about this new project. It’s early days but already we can feel the direction of this going forward with passion, punch and positivity.

DJW Talent believe that this R&D was not only important but necessary as the subject matter is close to many of our hearts and we all agreed that the subject matter should be close to everyone’s hearts.

Daniel-John Williams and a small DJW Team (Amy and Hollie) jumped at the chance to meet up with Victoria and discuss the future of the project with a group of actors who brought characters to life. Everyone asked great questions, made suggestions, gave honest feedback and shared thoughts in a safe space.

We already feel we have said too much and without spoiling anything, we will leave you with this.
