THE LUNCHBOX Cage also known as the Cinema Cage was design for the large 3D cameras for movie Director Robert Rodriguez for the 2005 movie Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D (also known simply as Sharkboy and Lavagirl).
This cage was lowered down with a Divemaster and 2 guests to 30-40ft, being able to see a great white shark swimming above you is a very humbling expereince. With its ope water feeling it was a very intimate way to spend time with the sharks We later used this cage for a few more years with great success and lots of sharks.
The cage was unique with a 4 ft high and 8 ft wide windows front and back. Overall the cage was 8ft tall x 8ft long x 4ft wide and was a very intimate way to spend time with the sharks.
