Life Happens, and yesterday was supposed to be the launch of our DO GOOD Day. This initiative is a way for us to honor those we have lost through simple acts of kindness. Although we are a day late, it's never too late to DO GOOD.
Today, we will merge our DO GOOD Day with National Wear Red Day to raise awareness for heart health by wearing our Team Owen sweatshirt. Additionally, we will be at Curt's Cafe later, buying coffee for unsuspecting patrons. This is a win-win situation, as we get to surprise people while also supporting Curt's mission to improve outcomes for young adults living in at-risk situations.

Distinctively Detroit Tours Wins Prestigious Award!
In 2023, our founder and CEO, Tami Manton, partnered with Kris Hoff from Happy Times Tours & Experiences to open Distinctively Detroit Tours (DDT) This year at the American Bus Association, Kris Hoff and DDT took home the prestigious 2025 TODAY Award presented by Groups Today Magazine!
“I am beyond honored to receive this award on behalf of the entire Distinctively Detroit Tour Team,” Kris shared, her enthusiasm palpable. “To have your peers nominate you for an award like this means the world to us. But, in reality we couldn’t do what we do without all the amazing businesses that trusted our vision, the team at Visit Detroit, and our awesome team at Distinctively Detroit Tours. Tami Manton, owner of Group Theater Tix created and continues to operate the group sales business for Chicago’s Apollo Theater. After successfully building the Apollo’s group sales department in 2001, Tami Manton expanded her business and opened the doors to Group Theater Tix in 2005.
