A few years ago, Joe went hiking into the Grand Canyon on holiday. Needing something tasty and full of energy to keep him going, he tried ‘Trail Mix’ – a blend of dried fruit, nuts and chocolate. It was delicious – and with its mix of fast and slow release energy it gave him just the oomph he needed. When he got home he told his wife Carly and they both wondered why these healthy, indulgent snacks weren’t available in the UK – so they started making them!
