Hello Cruisers!!
As many of you know, there was a PRC Alumni Winter Caribbean Cruise in 2022.
What started out very exciting in March of 2021 when the cruise announced, because of a myriad of issues, primarily COVID/Pandemic related, ended up with only 2 cabins booked.
The 5 people that booked those 2 cabins had a great time.
In March of this year, we sat down with our Travel Agent to make plans for a Winter Caribbean Cruise in 2023.
This cruise would be the same itinerary and basically the same dates as the 2022 cruise. The only difference being, it would be on a different Carnival ship.
Last month, we decided to cancel the proposed 2023 cruise for a number of reasons.
There are still uncertainties regarding COVID related protocols in the cruise industry.
Carnival didn’t seem very anxious to work with our travel agent on booking a group.
Personally we’ve had some family issues that made it difficult to concentrate on putting the cruise together.
And finally, concerns of a recession has some worried.
At this time we’re thinking of a possible 2024 Winter Caribbean Cruise. If there is, it will probably the last one we do.
So, if you were looking forward to a 2023 cruise, we apologize, but keep watching, there may be news of a 2024 Cruise!!
