This is Tiu Kelep waterfall. Situated just near mount Rinjani in about 40-60 minutes from Senaru village which is a main gate for Rinjani trekking. Hiking lovers will definitely be pleased to see this amazing waterfall hidden in the middle of jungles. The entrance fee is 10 000 idr. Guide isn't "must have".

Lombok is divided on 4 districts: Lombok Barat (west), Lombok Tenggah (central), Lombok Timur (east) and Lombok Utara (north). If you're decided to go to Lombok by plane, you're landing in BIL (Lombok international airport) which is in Praya (Lombok Tenggah). Central Lombok is well known among surfers for its surf spots. There's a bunch of them in Gerupuk, near Kuta Lombok (Seger, Are Guling, Mawi are most known), Ekas. Kuta Lombok is very attractive place for those who are tired from overcrowded Bali, but still want to catch some good waves. Locals are very friendly and easily can help you with everything you want. There are no fancy hotels here except Novotel Lombok, life is quiet and relaxed.
Central Lombok is also well known among tourists for its beaches which are also situated near Kuta. You can find really virgin beaches around here and landscape is stunning, especially during wet season, when everything starts to become green.

So, if you've arrived to Lombok by boat or ferry, you are on Lombok Barat (west), where the capital of Lombok (Mataram) is and also Senggigi. Senggigi consists of fancy hotels, several kilometers of beach and couple of surf spots. Near Senggigi there is a port (Bangsal), from which u can get to one of Gili islands (Air, Meno, Trawangan). During daytime they are quiet islands surrounded by the ocean, but as the sun goes down it's party time, especially on Trawangan.

How to get to Lombok from Bali? Everybody knows how to get to Bali and if u already there u can take a fast boat to Lombok, there's plenty of them on Bali. It won't take longtime (about 1,5 hours from Padang Bai to Seggigi) to reach Lombok.
U also can get to Lombok by ferry if you're going by scooter or a car. It's cheaper than fast boat, but it will take about 5 hours of ur life ))
Next way to get to Lombok is an cairplane. Just a half an hour in the air and you're landing in international airport of Lombok, it will cost u around 300 000 IDR, but be ready to fight delays, it happens. It is the easiest way to get to Lombok. There are also flights from KL and Singapore and different Indonesian cities to Lombok if you're going not from Bali
