River Country Water Park by Westgate will offer three heart-pounding waterslides: an open slide stretching over 281 feet with thrilling twists and turns, a vibrant tube slide with colorful stripes and a high-adrenaline freefall slide that plunges guests from 35 feet up. The oversized, island-inspired lagoon pool with shallow-water sun shelves and lounge seating will provide the ultimate escape.

Families and younger guests will be delighted by an expansive aquatic play area, featuring a splash pad with mini slides, dump buckets, spray cannons and a whimsical waterfall shower. Surrounding the play area are additional kid-friendly activities, like the “ride ‘n spray” horse, a mushroom maze and a towering water feature affectionately known as “Buddy Bovine.”

Unique, ranch-themed cabanas, inspired by the resorts’ famous glamping wagons and teepees, will offer exclusive seating for up to six guests. Each cabana includes a large-screen TV, mini refrigerator and a private in-cabana safe. The full-service “Bar'n” bar will also serve up cold beverages and snacks in a rustic, ranch-inspired setting.

I no longer have RV lots for rent but I do own 2 condos at River Ranch, if you or a relative are looking for a getaway. Book in advance because we will be entering busy season before you know it! Both units are ground floor.

Our Governor has signed FL State CS/HB 109 State Park Campsite Reservations.
State Park Campsite Reservations; Requires DEP Division of Recreation & Parks to allow residents & nonresidents to make state park cabin & campsite reservations within specified timeframes; requires residents to provide specified information for advance reservations.
RESERVATIONS EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2024
(a) The Division of Recreation and Parks shall allow individuals to make reservations for state park cabins and campsites, including sites for RV, tent, boat, and equestrian camping, as follows: For Florida residents, reservations up to 11 months in advance; and for nonresidents, reservations up to 10 months in advance.
b) A Florida resident who wishes to book a state park cabin or campsite more than 10 months in advance must provide his or her valid Florida driver license number or the identification number from a Florida identification card issued under s. 322.051 as proof of Florida residency when making a reservation.
