*Update on travel to England*

Yesterday the UK Government announcement that it is removing all COVID-19 international travel restrictions for all passengers from 04:00 (GMT) Friday 18 March.

That means that if you are arriving in England from abroad after 04:00 this Friday you do not need to take any COVID-19 tests – before you travel or after you arrive – nor fill in a UK passenger locator form before you travel. This applies whether you are vaccinated or not.

Anyone travelling before Friday needs to follow the current rules. You can find more information on the rules now and from Friday at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/travel-to-england-from-another-country-during-coronavirus-covid-19, where you can also find links to the rules for travelling to Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The rules for entering Spain from the UK remain the same and anyone entering from the UK that is not resident must be fully vaccinated or have a COVID certificate. You can check the full details at: https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/spain/entry-requirements and do sign up for alerts, so that you are notified when there are any changes.

*TRAVEL UPDATE*

The Spanish Government has relaxed the vaccine requirements for children travelling to Spain from outside the European Union as of midnight on 14 February.

Now, children aged between 12 and 17 years of age from the UK and elsewhere outside the EU are able to enter Spain by presenting a negative antigen test or a PCR taken 72 hours or less prior to arrival.

Children aged 12 or under, travelling with an adult, will not be subject to any type of health requirement.

The UK Government has today announced that it will remove ALL testing measures for eligible fully vaccinated arrivals to England from 04:00 (GMT) on 11 February, which is good news for those of you travelling to visit friends or family. Arrivals in England who aren't fully vaccinated will still need to take a pre-departure test and a PCR test on or before day 2 after arriving in England. All passengers (both those vaccinated and those who are not fully vaccinated) will still need to complete a Passenger Locator Form.
