Geosat Surveys was established in 2015 by Denis Amuzu-Sefordzi. Denis is a holder of BSc. Geomatic Engineering, Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM) and currently studying MSc. Petroleum Engineering at Heriot-Watt, Scotland. He is a visionary of his time in the field of surveying. He believed that the future of the industry lies in technological progression, and from the very beginning he knew the key to Geosat Surveys’ success was to leverage this to deliver a more efficient and quality-focused service, with precision as the cornerstone. Prior to the establishment of Geosat Surveys, Denis had learned his craft well as Chief Surveyor at Technical Solution Limited (Techsol) in Ireland. He has more than 4,000 surveys completed which include Measured Building Surveys, Setting Out, Monitoring, Volume Surveys, Reference Plans, Legal and Topographic Surveys, GPS Surveys, Laser Scans, Point Cloud to BIM, Control and Engineering Surveys, taking in charge, Layouts, etc. He has liaised and worked with most of the top engineering professionals being Architects, Civil Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Building Contractors, Project Managers, Site Managers, etc. Denis has been well educated and experienced land surveyor thus providing the highest quality of expertise at the best competitive rates. Health and Safety from Geosat Surveys
Our commitment to health and safety for our staff, clients and members of the public, is to the fore of our company policy. We recognise that people are the company’s greatest asset, and we are committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for our staff. We currently employ 6 permanent staff. We have heavily invested in training for all staff, including Managing Safety in the Workplace, Safe Pass, Confined Spaces and Construction Skill Certification Scheme (CSCS). With regard to places of work, equipment and procedures, our staff members are totally committed to safety. Directors, surveyors and our Health and Safety Manager share ideas and experiences to actively develop a positive safety culture within the company. Our Health and Safety Policy is reviewed annually and amended as necessary, taking into consideration changes in legislation and work practices.
