Today is the last day to sign up for the Starwood American Express Credit card for 35K points. May not seem like a lot but their usual sign up is only 25K.

Some tips to maximize those points:
*Transfer 20K miles to a partner airline-get a 5K bonus.
* When you book 4 nights at a hotel, get the 5th free. Use a category 3 hotel- 7K points a night. (Westin Cancun is a cat 3- think Spring Break 2017!)
*book a flight on Starwood- 30K points has a value of about $400
