For centuries Filey has been a thriving fishing community, and today the coble landing is still full of interest to visitors. Nearby, the life boat station is a reminder of the ever present dangers of the sea. The town itself is a bustling thoroughfare with plenty of local shops, restaurants and recreational areas, including Filey Golf Club. Filey offers everything a visitor can expect from a small resort, even a visit to Filey’s elegant past, which can be seen by visiting the museum and the Edwardian festival in late June. During your holiday in Filey why not explore the surrounding area’s such as Scarborough, Robin Hoods Bay and further north Whitby. To the south you can visit Flamborough with it’s light house, Bridlington or The Deep at Hull. On a quiet service road situated in the nicest part of Filey is our ground floor flat, with wonderful views over the crescent gardens and across the sea towards Flamborough Head. Along with many of its original features, including ornate covings and high ceilings we have recently developed the flat to a very impressive standard, adding many modern design features to give a contemporary look. The flat sleeps six and comprises of a spacious, south facing lounge, which can be opened up through to a modern, dining kitchen, three bedrooms, family bathroom, shower, separate cloak room/W.C and is fully gas central heated throughout.
