May 1 is Labor Day in Portugal!! Here in Tavira, merchants display life size “dolls” to showcase different types of work. It was hysterical when I turned a corner and was startled by one of these sitting in a chair, staring at me ! 😂 Fun, fun to roam the old town and discover these delightful, playful “workers.” Check out the displays.

Summers in the Algarve (south coast) Portugal are nonstop celebrations, food, culture, and music. Scorching days mean nightly activities including antique shows, book fairs, & family events all start at 10:00 PM. 😳 so proud that I stayed up to enjoy part of this concert. Must work on this late night European lifestyle. 🥱😴
