Depending on your time of arrival, the first day in Calgary is at leisure. Board a giant Ice Explorer for the surface of the ancient Athabasca Glacier. Bring your sunglasses: the snowy glacier surface can be very bright! Leave Canmore and travel onward to the central British Columbia city of Kamloops.
