Essential New Zealand with Airfare 📣

🔸 Explore the ultimate New Zealand experience on this 11-day air inclusive trip. Start off in Auckland by exploring the city and it's natural sites. From there, head off to Rotorua to tour volcanoes, geysers, hot springs, and more. Spend a few days admiring the heritage and beauty of the South Island at Queenstown before ending you adventure in Christchurch.

🔹 This 11-day trip invites you to see the best of both worlds, taking in New Zealand’s North Island followed by a day in the fjords of the south.

🔹Land in Auckland and take an easy first day to acclimate and shake off any jetlag. Then explore all that makes Auckland one of the world’s most liveable cities on a full-day tour through the city. Built on 52 dormant volcanic cones and set between two harbours, Auckland is all about combining the best indoor and outdoor experiences and perfecting life’s balance. Visit a nearby rainforest, see the rugged west coast, and explore the City of Sails.

🔹Head south to Rotorua via a quick stop in Hobbiton, which preserves New Zealand’s most famous cinematic identity, as ‘Middle Earth’ in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Then discover New Zealand’s real stories on a full-day tour of Rotorua. See the famous mud pools and geysers, and explore Māori culture in detail at Te Puia. The day draws to a close at Tamaki Māori Village with a traditional hakari 4-course meal prepared by award-winning Māori chefs.

🔹Fly to Queenstown, arguably New Zealand’s most stunning city, and its undisputed capital for adventure sports. Take an all-day trip into Fiordland National Park and cruise Piopiotahi/Milford Sound, the largest and most impressive of New Zealand’s fjords. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife including dolphins, seals, and even the occasional whale, in between staring at Mitre Peak and the cliffs surrounding you. The following day is at leisure in Queenstown. Walk or bike along Lake Wakatipu, go zip-lining through the forest canopy, ride the Shotover jet boat, climb aboard the famous Skyline Queenstown cable car to the top of Ben Lomond Scenic Reserve, or try bungee jumping in the town where it was invented. Your options are limitless in Queenstown.

🔹Get a scenic taste of the South Island as you weave through the mountains toward Christchurch. You might even catch a glimpse of Aoraki/Mount Cook! When you reach Christchurch, you might have time to visit the Antarctic Centre, Hagley Park, and the Canterbury Museum or explore Quake City to learn about how the 2010 and 2011 earthquakes devastated the city… and how it rebuilt! In the evening, enjoy one of the many restaurants, bars, or live music venues that have popped up in the reinvigorated Christchurch.

🔹Transfer to Christchurch Airport for your onward flight.

Western Journey

CANADA

This moderate 7-day escorted coach tour takes you from the Rockies to the Pacific, all in one experience-filled week. Nature is the star of this trip, naturally, but you will also have enough big-city experiences to satisfy any culinary and culture cravings. Travelling from the prairies of Calgary, Alberta, to the coastal beauty of Vancouver, British Columbia, expect scenic highlights every day: heritage and history, mountainous beauty, glacial ice fields, deep canyons, dense forests, and emerald-green lakes. Explore the surface of the ancient Athabasca Glacier Board aboard a giant Ice Explorer, enjoy scenic float plane sightseeing tour over Garibaldi Park, stroll the winding streets of Whistler Resort, and discover Vancouver, a coastal gem known for its multicultural cuisine and its pioneering history.
Depending on your time of arrival, the first day in Calgary is at leisure. Visit Heritage Park Historical Village, Canada’s largest living history museum, or soar up to the Calgary Tower’s observation deck, browse the boutique shops, and end with an Alberta beef dinner at a downtown, award-winning steakhouse.

Set out early the next morning to tour the sights of Calgary, viewing modern and historic landmarks such as the Calgary Tower, Fort Calgary, and the commercial district. Set your sights on the distant Rocky Mountains, your next destination. Travel through the foothills and enter Banff National Park, with its snow-capped peaks, sparkling glaciers, and abundant wildlife. Tour the area, seeing landmarks like the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, Bow Falls and Tunnel Mountain. Overnight in Canmore, Alberta, a tiny town with outsized views of no less than five different, stunningly beautiful mountain ranges.

Spend the next day at leisure in Banff or join the optional full-day tour to the Columbia Icefield, travelling along the scenic, world-famous Icefields Parkway. Board a giant Ice Explorer for the surface of the ancient Athabasca Glacier. Bring your sunglasses: the snowy glacier surface can be very bright! If time permits, experience the icefield Skywalk, an exciting one-kilometre walkway leading to a stunning viewing platform where glass is all that separates you from a 918-foot drop.

Leave Canmore and travel onward to the central British Columbia city of Kamloops. Cross Kicking Horse Pass into Yoho National Park, en route to Glacier National Park, and through the Monashee and Selkirk Mountain ranges to the rugged interior town of Kamloops, where you will spend the night. Expect a gradual scenery change today with Douglas firs gradually giving way to grasslands and cattle country.

Dramatic scenery changes abound the next day when your group leaves the ranch lands and heads for the coastal mountains. In the resort town of Whistler, an optional float plane sightseeing tour over Garibaldi Park makes for some wonderful photos of volcanic peaks, alpine lakes, and meadows. Overnight in pretty Whistler Village, nestled at the base of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, and enjoy the endless array of shops, cafés and bars, restaurants, and legendary aprés-ski nightlife options.

The next day, your group heads south along the spectacular Sea-to-Sky Highway through a dramatic landscape of jagged fjords and glaciated mountain peaks. The cosmopolitan city of Vancouver is your final destination, and offers a myriad of cultural, culinary, and natural attractions and experiences.

First, explore the metropolis on a sightseeing tour, with highlights including Stanley Park, Prospect Point, English Bay, historic Gastown and tiny Chinatown. The afternoon is free for you to explore this stunning coastal city further on your own. Don’t worry about dinner plans: Vancouver is home to hundreds of fantastic downtown area restaurants, brew pubs, and outdoor dining patios.

On Day 7, make your way to Vancouver’s international airport for your return flight (unless you plan to extend your memorable stay).

National Parks Explorer

This 14-day tour gives you full freedom of Canada’s mountain roads, leading you on a self-driven tour of the most breathtaking locations in the Canadian Rockies. Your adventure awaits in Calgary, where you’ll get in your car and head eastward towards Vancouver’s Pacific Coast, with stops in Banff, Jasper, Lake Louise, Kamloops, and all their natural gems in between.
🏔⛰
Your Road book contains all the information you’ll need for this expedition, so take off with confidence for Banff. From your base at Buffalo Mountain Lodge, you’ll be in direct view of the lofty peaks above due to its unique location on Tunnel Mountain. The town holds many wonders as well, including potential wildlife sightings from wild elk and deer who like to stroll through its streets alongside tourists, doing their fair share of window shopping at Banff’s many boutiques and restaurants.
🛶
Pyramid Lake Resort awaits you in Jasper on one of the most scenic drives in the world, so take your time getting there as mountain peaks loom and pines give way to hidden rivers in Alberta’s wild interior. Consider a stop at Peyto Lake, whose waters are such a deep blue that you’ll think it’s artificial. That’s just the natural beauty of the Canadian Rockies, not even counting the waterfalls and alpine meadows stretching as far as the eye can see.
🌈
Jasper brings no shortage of adventure nor imagination. Prepare to get wet as you embark on a white-water rafting trip, a thrilling ride suitable for absolute beginners. New experiences abound in this ecological marvel, which you’ll confirm after looking into the depths of Maligne Canyon, whose history dates back 10,000 years. You’ll also get a glimpse of the disappearing Medicine Lake before a trip to Maligne Lake, where you’ll cruise on clear waters to Spirit Island for a world-famous viewpoint of the Rockies followed by a tasty treat at the Lake Chalet. You can rest the next day, when you’ll board the Ice Explorer at the Columbia Icefield for a journey on the Athabasca Glacier.
🏞
No two lakes in Alberta are the same, which you’ll find out when you meet the picture-perfect shores of Lake Louise at Baker Creek Mountain Resort. Find inner peace along its clear waters, challenge yourself to a hike with your difficulty level of choice, or check out the abundance of adventure tours in the area.
🧗🏼‍♀️
The border between British Columbia and Alberta lies between mountain and forest, which you’ll traverse on its roads towards Glacier National Park and Mount Robson, the tallest peak of the Canadian Rockies. Crane your neck upwards and carry on towards Kamloops, where you can relax in your hotel or get right back into the outdoors. Kamloops’ reputation as an outdoor activity hotspot is no joke, but if you’d like to take a sports break, you can absorb some history at the Firehall Museum or board the Kamloops Heritage Railway for a short tour in summer.
🛤
The drive to your final stop in Vancouver is an unforgettable one that traverses ranch land, making you feel like you’ve taken a step back in time as you spot herds of cattle and cowboys on horseback. Feel the roar of the Frayer Canyon and its river as over 750,000 litres of water rush through the Hell’s Gate Gorge every minute, which is best viewed from a gondola ride about.
🚤
Once in Vancouver, freewheel through the streets of Canada’s “Gateway to the Pacific” as salty sea air mixes with the hustle and bustle of this modern city. Take a city tour that shows you all its most lively sights, from Chinatown, Gastown, Robson Street, Stanley Park, Capilano Suspension Bridge, and more.
🛍
At the end of your stay, make your way to the Vancouver International Airport for your flight onwards.
