Surprised to find the Monsoon rains are here. We used to get them growing up here in late July and thru mid August.

Typically daily heavy rains in early morning and then late afternoon chances. Grass is high and thick. Big rain drops in Cade, LA. Everything is lush and green. ,

Just returned from Washington DC. Trip overall was 3 of 5 based upon flight options and service. Stayed at Hyatt Place. 1st stay there. Definately worth staying again. The Wharf area of DC was world class rating 4 exceptional. Recommend traveler stay due to proximity to Regan National airport.
, the washington mall, shopping food and nightlife. Great energy.
