Thanks for the check-in Kim!
I am able to do the 30th, so that would work for me.
Given how tight (and a bit stressed) my schedule is, my reality is that I am not sure I could be flexible for 4 different dates. I could be flexible for a couple dates, but that's as far as I'm able.
As other dates, I could be available on the 21st (if I know soon), the 24th or the 29th.
Thanks!!

Still checking in with you on this date to send the request out?
How are you feeling about still proposing this date

YEs, the Wednesday the 30th is jumping out. How does that sound. But we can send a request for 4 nights and see what people can do, is what Steven suggested. 🙂 Or maybe a few.
Let me know and we can get an email request out
Love,
Kim

Hi Kim, I'm good from Mon to Thurs the week of the 20th and then probably Tues or Wed the week after (the 29th or 30th). Any of those days work? Obviously the earlier we can lock down a night is better for my planning as a lot of things will come up as the days go on.
Looking forward to the meeting!

September then! I will write back with some options unless you have a desire to propose some. I am the flexible one it seems 🙂

Hi Kim! Great update! And awesome detail and clarity! I definitely think this will give the new board a good starting point.
Cambodia and the new job are going well. The first few weeks have flown by! It's super busy and plugged right into the work with donors and gifts and supporting our work with the traditional Cambodian artists.
For the proposed dates, unfortunately none of them are going to work for me at all. The 4th is the Sunday of my wedding weekend, and the Saturday after is our last weekend in Vancouver before we move, then the next 2 dates we'll be away on our honeymoon. October as a whole is a write-off for me for all the massive life changes and intercontinental move.
If it is any way possible, I could make a meeting in Sept (the 2nd or 3rd week are by far the best), otherwise it's not possible for me until November. Bad timing. If you have to do it in October, I'll have to miss and perhaps I can write something in advance?
Take a think and let me know.
Light and love,
McKay

Hello McKay,
Thanks for your patience and hope your new job in Cambodia is going super! Love to hear more about your transition.
I have enjoyed a Permaculture Course and many beautiful and talented facilitators have come forward with the work in Peru and showed interest in leading a Permaculture course there, building support etc. The couple who sponsored me for this course from Australia are also very interested in the project in Pisac/ San Salvador etc. so lot’s cooking and very Global lately!
The realm and grid of fabulous leaders for this work has grown and even grounded into strong facilitators. The work with The Breath Center at Bhakti Fest Midwest, Madison WI and upcoming in Joshua Tree, has incredible opportunity for bridge facilitation and retreat planning with them for Peru this coming year! I am a guardian with them and will be up in Ojai, Ca after the festival possibly to discuss and plan- Peru!
The gist of the Board Meeting needs to be a transition. State of the Union from you, and where we have been, started and how we impacted children in Peru and what we did well and what was not sustainable in the old model.
2. The introduction of the new Board Members and the infrastructure for Global Embrace as a social enterprise to make the funding model more sustainable and regenerative.
3. Who is on the Board of Sacred Valley Initiative aka (Yoga for the Children) and Advisory Board
4. Steven Johnston’s vision and goals for the structure of the Board as the new Chairman
5. The Global Embrace Team and how the model will fund the charity well with the top 10% going toward the social projects.
6. What are the projects as of now and who are on-the ground in Peru affiliates?
