Made a trip to Kawazu for some delicious Kansai-style eel! Even before the restaurant opened at 11 AM, there was already a line. Unlike the Kanto style, this eel is grilled without steaming—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Absolutely delicious!
After the meal, I took a stroll along the river to see the Kawazu cherry blossoms. They weren’t in full bloom yet, but the pink petals against the blue sky were still a beautiful sight.
On the way back, I’m stopping by Yugawara for a relaxing dip in the hot springs!
美味しい関西風の鰻を食べに河津へ!開店前の11時なのに、すでに行列ができてました。関東風とは違って、蒸さずに焼くので、外はカリッと中はふんわり。めちゃくちゃ美味しかった!
食後は、川沿いを散歩しながら河津桜をチェック。今年はまだ満開じゃなかったけど、青空にピンクの花びらが映えてキレイだったなぁ。
帰りは湯河原で温泉に浸かってリフレッシュしてきます♨️
