Scholarship Opportunity: Puritan Academy

The Puritan Academy is offering fifteen exclusive scholarship places for aspiring yachties (green yachties) who are passionate about entering the yachting industry. This unique six-month program provides an introduction to both the practical and theoretical aspects of yachting, with a range of foundational courses designed to prepare you for a successful career at sea.
Program Overview:
- Professional Deckhand (60 hours)
- Basic Engineering (60 hours)
- Yachting Etiquette (15 hours)
In addition to the courses, you’ll gain 6 months of onboard internship experience aboard a 35m classic sailing yacht, a prestigious addition to your CV that will prepare you for the start of the summer season.
This scholarship is part of a four-year cycle. Upon completing your initial apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to continue your education and training, leading to qualifications such as:
- Master 200GT
- Engineer for Small Commercial Vessels
- Bosun
- Chief Stewardess
- Chef
