About 15 minutes east of Al Ladino is the pretty pueblo of Maro. From the centre of the village, there's a pleasing walk along an agricultural road, going downwards in the direction of the quiet beach that lies below. To get to the beach is probably 20 minutes. This magical hidden beach is not known to most people. It's 15 minutes in the car from Al Ladino and then a 15 minute treck. Take good walking shoes as the ground is uneven in places.
