Maria Luisa Librandi teaches us how to make fusilli al ferretto! She makes them with the ferretto used by her grandmother, which has eroded from a perfect square to a smooth round needle since she makes them all the time! Had the honor and pleasure of meeting the incredible talented and most authentic Calabrese I’ve ever met: Daniele Cundari. He’s a “Repentista” (from Spanish: derepente)He’s blended the traditional Calabrian poems with the metric pace of Flamenco and Gypsy styles of Granada and Andalusia creating a form of recital which has made him famous around the world. His talent is beyond belief! BRAVISSIMO! 👏 He owns the cutest little library in his home of Cuti where he cooks for visitors from all over the world plus makes amazing drinks! If you are in the area, you MUST visit!!
