We believe that businesses who invest in access and mobility features deserve to be rewarded for their investment and visible statement of 'welcome'. Accessible tourism/leisure businesses make travel so much more enjoyable for people that utilise the measures. This site is for posting information about great accessible discoveries. It is NOT for criticising businesses that don't provide these amen
ities (there are just too many of them to list!)
Instead let's focus on the positive and make this a page of happy discovery - not frustration. Generally speaking we are interested in travel and leisure - Accommodation, Tourist Attractions, Transport Services, Restaurants, Bars, Clubs etc. You may know of a specific place or you've discovered a great service that a provider offers - let's hear about it! If you own a place, that's OK too and indeed we welcome you - just be up front about that versus fronting it as a 'recommendation' ;-)
We are in the final stages of developing a fantastic interactive website to achieve this same information sharing outcome - which will also be FREE! But we couldn't resist starting the long overdue conversation - and Facebook is such a great way to communicate with the world! We'll keep people informed as things rapidly develop over the coming weeks :-)
