Moochy Kids Care In home care - Nanny service, Babysitting, Holiday care and Before and After School care etc

Our purpose is to create an environment in which children feel welcomed, safe, respected and free to create imagine and discover. We believe as educators we can help children through their development by creating an environment that inspires them to learn at a pace which is comfortable, yet challenging. We believe children need a consistent show of affection, care, love and respect in an environme

nt that suits their needs. Our role as educators is to provide activities that enhance the child's natural curiosity and interest level. We believe that play is a very important part of a child's learning. It is important for us as parents and educators to be aware and to respect the potential of children; to provide a caring, trusting and non competitive environment in which children can grow as individuals and friends. Families and caregivers should maintain open, honest and consistent communication to best meet the children's needs and to help children feel comfortable and secure. Infants and toddlers have a flexible schedule which reflects the child's individual needs. They are given individual attention, including lots of time for talking and interacting. We will provide safe, open spaces for children who are walking and crawling to move freely. Children including infants and toddlers, go outdoors daily when weather permits and given freedom to play, explore, move and discover under adult supervision. We believe it is crucial to give every child tender, loving care and make each daily routine a learning experience.

PART I 2020
We hope you have all enjoyed the 'Very Moochy' Christmas's from past years. It has been amazing to see the changes in the children over the years.
I must say I am looking forward to seeing a couple of them up here over the Christmas break 💙❤️

“It’s the most wonderful time of the Year” 🎵

Our Moochy's definitely have the Christmas spirit.

We only worked two days this week but they were jam packed with fun!!!

We sang, ate Gingerbread men, read stories and did craft that the children enjoyed. Our peppermint and spearmint play dough smelt good enough to eat. This is exactly what one Moochy did. He will have sparkly poops and a little high cholesterol from all the salt but the essential oil won’t do any harm.
This same Moochy was pulling the most funniest faces as he picked cumquats off our tree and ate them. Oh dear - just a stage ha ha ha.

Santas toyshop and the gingerbread house were interactive for all ages and the kids slipped straight into role-play - the younger ones always having to be the purchasers. Mr 4 said to Mr 2 when loading his shopping bag with just candy canes “you will get sick if you eat that many. Buy a teddy” ha ha ha.

The Gingerbread house had the final touches added to it yesterday by Mr 4 who was the one who suggested this project. He added the chimney, with smoke, and a light inside. He was incredibly proud of his chimney.

Next week we will be having our Christmas celebrations as there are a few away on the last week.
We will talk on our chat page about food but please send in their Christmas get ups.

Have a great weekend everyone. Hope you find time to relax at some stage. Such a busy time for you all.

Love

Moochy Christmas 2017.

Moochy Christmas 2017.

This week has been huge and we are happily exhausted.

We have had so much fun helping the Moochys to put together some gifts for their gorgeous parents. Belting out “Six White Boomers” while we cooked, made and spread ingredients from one end of the kitchen to the other. It was good that we had so much to do because it was far too hot to be outside for more than ½ hour on Tuesday.

Yesterday we managed to get out for Cino and Chats in the late afternoon and guess who we saw?????? Yep, SANTA. Master CJ saw him on the other side of the shopping centre and called him over – “Santa, Santa over here. Santa, Santa “. Then to me “I love Santa Shell”. Santa unwittingly came over and could not get away for a good 10 minutes while CJ boxed his ears off. Ha Ha. Who does he remind me of??????? He didn’t dob on his big sisters behaviour until Santa had walked away and filled me in on what she has been doing wrong interspersed with “I love Santa, Shell”. Hillarious. Baby Zeke was a little wary but Baby H didn’t mind after he saw the basket of lollies – hand in - 10 candy canes for him!!!!!!

All Moochys have now gone home happily with their gifts for their parents, all made and wrapped, and themselves all full of party food and good cheer. I am pleased to say that our job is done for 2017. Now we will concentrate on our beautiful family and look forward to us all being together over Christmas and catching up face to face. It has been a big year for our kids – Keely is now living back in NSW, teaching and just about to move into her first brand new home along with her partner who has landed a job that he has worked so hard to achieve and Zak, our son, finished UNI and in February he started his career in the banking sector and has been very successful. We are really pleased for them but the big thing for us is that we see that they are happy in their lives. It makes our hearts swell and we are very proud of them. Oh, and last but not least, Grandy, who seems to have 9 lives but has used up a few this year, is still with us to celebrate another Christmas. Go Grandy you legend. All our Moochys love, love, love Grandy.

To our 2 Moochys who were unable to join in the pre Christmas fun this week , due to sickness, don’t worry we will have a welcome back party for both of you. Any excuse to celebrate :)

Have a wonderful and safe Christmas everyone. Thank you for lending us your babies to make this festive season more merrier. And a big thank you for our super thoughtful gifts. See you all in 2018.

Love

As I feel sad and nostalgic about all the fun we had with our Moochys at this time of year, it's a good time to look back and remember.
I will add a year each day starting with 2014. Enjoy xx

What an emotional roller coaster of a week soaking up as much of the kids as we could and commit everything to memory. We had 3 days of parties based around our Rainbow theme and they particularly enjoyed the cakes and Icecream. So did Marky Darling.
As we reflect on the last wonderful, fulfilling 8 years we feel blessed with all the parents, grandparents, aunties, Uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters who have come into our lives. Though many have moved on we have remained in touch thanks to this blog. We know what all our Moochy's are doing now and for that we are forever grateful. It has always been hard seeing them move on. One thing we have learnt is that there is no chance that we could have taken an unattached approach. Having families involved has just made it so much easier for children to settle and feel the love that surrounds them. We always knew that the parents supported us as we did them. Because of this support we took out two Regional Educators awards and the NSW/ACT Educators of the year award, mentioned in Hansard, visited by dignitaries and parliamentarians and interstate collegues and the icing on the cake - we had a star named after us. So special.
We have loved all the children in our care unconditionally and they know that. We will miss them terribly and Marky Darling will now need to pass on his dress ups to anybody else who is willing to unleash their inner child. Life will not be the same without our babies and the wonderful chats each day with their parents. We wish you all the best and will miss you madly. If I may I will pop on here occasionally to let you know how we are doing and to share a memory or two. I'm not ready to close the Moochy Kids page yet. As this is the end of MK's as we know it take the time to go through the videos and photos for a trip down memory lane.

With oodles of love
