My beautiful friend Jane sadly lost her husband Ian, too soon. Both immensely talented skiers whose daughters were Olympians they are a gifted family. Jane has subsequently set up a charity in Ian’s name to help support carers https://www.ianmcgarry.com/foundation/ As a young girl aged 17yrs, I was a full time carer for my grandmother who eventually passed away suffering from stomach cancer, at the same time I loved art and really excelled with design. Nadya & Jane both contribute something really special and either visiting Nadya’s exhibition or supporting Jane’s charity will be a choice well made 😘🎈.

Ama Dablam 6812m summit success for Emile and ! Many many congratulations 🎉 and a celebration 🥳 cake 🎂 back at BC. A million thanks 🙏 to Tsering Sherpa IFMGA & Lakpa for your 💯 excellent guiding, BC operations and all round support! Big thank you 🙏 to for climbing with me, although we did not summit it was the best adventure, wild camps, crazy pitches and something incredibly special to share with my son in his 18th yr around the globe 🌍❤️. We still have a few more weeks of exploring, but for now I need to connect to the bonkers expensive WIFI and get back on the summer 2025 Alpine bookings creating more fun adventures for the year ahead! Good luck to everyone else on the mountain, and looking forward to catching up with more people on our journey. Ladakh - July 2025 🎈21 Day Trek finishing on Lake Tso Moriri to expereince the Korzok Gustor Festival.
Starting from Leh in Northern India we complete a linear trek crossing the himilayen passes of Zalung Karpo La (5200m), Kyamayuri-la (5430m), Kartse-la (5380m) & Yarlung Nyau-la (5440m) with an opportunity to climb the mountain of Yalung Nong South (6080m), followed by the 2 – day festival at Korzok monastery overlooking the majestic Tso Moriri lake. Korzok Gustor festival could easily qualify as one of the most memorable and beautiful festivals in the whole of Ladakh region. What adds charm to the festival is the attendance of Changpa nomadic groups who come in large numbers to attend the festival. The Korzok monastery, affiliated to the Drukpa lineage, was founded by Kunga Lodro Ningpo around three centuries back. www.livebreathehike.com
