Greetings to all my friends who have enjoyed Bragg Travel over the years.

As most things must, the Bragg Travel page is changing and will now be known as Bragg's Travels.

The Bragg Travel Agency has officially closed as of July 2017; however, the new Bragg’s Travels page will remain as a Local / Travel Page with more updated and interesting content.
This closure of Bragg Travel Agency is due to my accepting a position with a National Travel Agency (which I am not allowed to name directly until their legal department allows… but you will recognize when you call me lol).

With this move I will continue to be able to offer Our LGBTQIA+ Community Ongoing 5 Star Service WITH Better Travel Benefits for YOU - Better Rates (especially Groups!.. y’all know how I LOVE Groups), Additional On Board Credits, etc.!

At the moment I am still progressing through their in-house training and getting up to speed with their wide selection of Preferred Providers (hit to who they are for those in the know) and will be able to share my new contact information in the first half of this November.

In the meantime, THANK YOU All for the continued support during this changeover and I look forward to speaking with y’all very soon!

At first glance one might mistake the “Thuyen Thung” as a rather large basket, but they are actually traditional boats in Vietnam! The boats were said to have originated during the French Colonial Era when high taxes were required of anyone owning a boat. Poor regional fisherman were not able to pay this tax but also needed to continue their livelihood, so they created these large vessels that they argued were baskets as opposed to boats, and therefore could not be taxed. Their plan worked, and these boats have become a traditional means of fishing ever since.

Arizona's state flower, the saguaro cactus, likes to live a slow and steady life. While they can grow between 40-60 feet tall, a 10 year old plant might only be all of 1.5 inches tall, and it often takes up to 75 years to develop one of their very iconic "arms"! It is not uncommon for them to live from anywhere to 150 to 200 years of age. Deemed the state flower in 1931, Arizona takes the safety and well being of the saguaro very seriously. Harming a saguaro in any manner is illegal by state law, and special permits must be obtained if one will be affected during construction projects.

Located on the West Coast of St. Lucia, Soufrière was historically settled by the French and served as the first capital of the island. Tourism drives its economy today, and with this scenic photo, we can see why! The towering rocks in the center of the picture are known as the Pitons, and its busy seafront area beckons visitors to explore its colorful wooden storefronts.

White sand beaches, coves, and cliffs exist alongside of countryside pursuits such as golf, art galleries, and festivals. Charming stone villages such as Pollença are must-sees, as is the municipality of Fornalutx, set in the mountains amidst citrus groves.

Affectionately dubbed Georgia's "Little Grand Canyon", Providence Canyon State Park is considered to be one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Georgia. The massive gullies were caused by erosion due to poor farming practices in the 19th century. Today it provides over 10 miles of hiking trails and hundreds of opportunities for a stunning photo among the red, pink and white sandstone.

Did you know the city of Panamá, founded in 1519, was the first European settlement along the Pacific Ocean? Though pirates destroyed most of the city in 1671, the remnants of its once imposing stone architecture are a must-see for visitors to the area. The cathedral's four-story bell tower and the neighboring Casa Alarcón, the largest known private residence, are by far the best-preserved structures.

Central Bucharest's Piata Unirii is notable for its large fountains. This bridge is quite the engineering feat and the pride of the state. At one time it was the longest arch bridge in the world! Though it's now just the 3rd longest, it's still beloved and gets 80,000 visitors per year, is on the National Register of Historic Places and is featured on the state's quarter. Can you name where in the world this is?
