One of our very own Sea Kayak Adventures Adventure Consultants, Lexi, got the chance to travel to Quebec and paddle alongside our guests this summer! We are heartbroken to learn about the loss of the Whale Interpretive Center (WIC) and some surrounding areas of Telegraph Cove in a devastating fire earlier this week. For years, many of our guests have ended their British Columbia paddling journeys with a visit to the WIC—a place of history, education, and inspiration dedicated to the incredible world of whales.

Amid this tragedy, there is hope. With immense community support and a vision for renewal, the WIC has plans to rebuild and recover what was lost. If you are able to contribute, please consider donating to the official fundraiser linked below. Your support will directly aid the restoration of this cherished center for learning and conservation. 💙🐋
