We arrived in Bali late at night and I could only make out the soft silhouettes of the ornately-carved stone statues and buildings as we whooshed past, windows down in the taxi from the airport. Even so, the fragrance of plumeria, incense and sea salt on the soft, warm air and the feeling of the land was enough to bring tears to my eyes. And waking up to this was, obviously, beyond. .
I learned that the town of Ubud was originally important as a source of medicinal herbs and plants. It gets its name from the Balinese world ubad, which means medicine. Guess I’m in the right place. ✨

We at Guided Seeker have not talked about traveling for quite some time. But we are here and the quiet has been intentional. Guided Seeker has always been about the inner journey. And for majority of us, it has been a long and difficult road full of changes and uncertainty. Without explanation, you’ve been on a journey of a lifetime.
So, yes, let’s begin the conversation of adventure, freedom, and a change of scenery. But let’s not forget the lessons of our shared fragility. We hope to see you soon on the open road, with that open sky, with changed appreciation and a maturity of savoring the subtle moments.
