The people have spoken, and they LOVE our region! Port Douglas has been voted NUMBER 2 in the Australian Traveller’s Top 50 Aussie Towns! These awards are voted on by the readers of the magazine and show that Port Douglas is still the “go to” destination for discerning Aussie Travellers.
After the busiest season on record this is welcome recognition for our hard working industry who deliver world class experiences day in day out.
TNQ was well represented in the awards with the destination taking out 2 of the top 5 spots with Cairns coming in at number 4.
