Auli is an important ski destination in the Himalayan mountains of Uttarakhand, India. Auli, also known as a 'bugyal' or Auli Bugyal, in the regional language, which means meadow, is located at an elevation of 2500 to 3050 meters above sea level.

It's basically well known for skiing and has one of the longest Skiing Treak.

It has the Asia's longest cable car of 4 kms.

Best Time to Visit: Best time to visit is last week of Jan to first week of March for skiing. Though weather is highly unpredictable.

How to Reach: From Joshimath it's countable distance. Road trip is the best for this place. People consider it as a risk but believe; It's the best journey ever.

Antarctica is a land of extremes. It is the coldest and driest continent on Earth and has the highest average elevation. As the fifth largest continent in the world, Antarctica is also the most Southern, overlying the "South Pole".
