The company invests a significant portion of it's profits in the families of Las Malvinas II, a slum in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, in the form of food assistance, school support, higher Ed scholarships for young women and other special projects. Originally called Esperanza Soaps, the company started as a

way to create meaningful employment opportunities for low income families, especially women. The founders built a factory in the community and trained local woman to make their products. After COVID, the company pivoted to providing broader support to families and embraced a zero-waste production approach. has deep Dominican roots and creates handmade, natural products that showcase the best of the island and the families that benefit from it's programs.
