Had a terrific day on the water with very fun clients yesterday! Landed several nice rainbows, and missed a grayling or two! Finally got some summertime weather too! I lost my primary fly box while netting a fish, so I'll have to spend some time at the fly tying desk today in preparation for another go tomorrow. We still have availability for Tuesday and Friday this week.

It was great to spend some time in the mountains yesterday... I wasn't alone. In fact, Braedon and I weren't alone. These guys were out in force, and, about as big as horseflies, were doing a pretty good job getting through strong gusty wind to prester us.

It's been a great season of ice fishing! We've taken over 50 people out fishing so far in '24. We'll start adding to the count again before long with flyfishing for rainbows, dollies and grayling, then we'll add salmon fishing to the mix starting in June. We've just set the ice fishing schedule for next winter, with two half-day trips and one full-day trip available per day starting November 15, so all you "advance planners" can start getting your bookings in! Can't wait for some SUMMERTIME fish action! (And... sorry, but what would a good fishing post be without a photodump?)

We had another amazing time this weekend with Alaska Backcountry Access on a snowmachine ride to Spencer Glacier. It was near whiteout at times, snowing what appeared to be 10"-12" while we were out. What a terrific "spring" day! 🌞
