We are tremendously saddened to share this post. We adored Chef Andre, and we have loved the Brazos Belle Restaurant. We will miss his endearing smile and witty charm. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and community. Thank you, Andre, for making this world...such a treat. May we raise a glass someday at your table on the other side.

With overwhelming sadness, we announce that our much loved Chef Andre left us peacefully during the early morning hours of Saturday, July 22. His was an amazing life well-lived always

Doing some scouting – especially for our “Lexington Bluff” guests – we took the short ride up to Apache Pass Steakhouse & Icehouse (they’ve really stepped up this very cool spot!) where we caught Carly Jo Jackson Music's energetic first set. I usually avoid comparisons, but some of her vocals reminded me Frazey Ford (The Be Good Tanyas, “Light Enough to Travel”). A very fun evening!

Another hidden gem: Duo by Gino & Nate at Market Hill in Round Top is fabulous! An easy 35-minute drive from our Lexington location for a world-class dining experience. WOW!!!

Cindy's relaxing studio is a very short walk from our downtown Taylor locations, and a short drive from the Lexington location. Do your body a (Texas-sized) favor!

We enjoy exploring so we can make recommendations for Houses Sing & Sleep guests. The Lake Somerville State Park & Trailway system is a short drive (24 miles) from our flagship HS&S “Lexington Bluff” location. This was the scene with American White Pelicans yesterday at Flag Pond. We also saw other birds, big fish, deer, and, of course, lots of wildflowers.

Taylor has the very cool Taylor Bike Company (very short walk from HS&S Taylor locations), but once you're outfitted Lexington has some really scenic gravel bike riding routes...(and Snow's BBQ!).

20 years ago today, we opened the doors to this little red building in Lexington, Texas. We could have never imagined “BBQ life” as it is today. We are beyond thankful, grateful, and so blessed! There are not enough words of thanks that could be said to each of you. Just know that your kindness, support, and love of our BBQ has not gone unnoticed. YOU have made us who we are today. We truly appreciate your business through the years, but more than that, the friendships we have made along the way. We absolutely love what we do and by the grace of God, we hope to continue for 20 more years!

With all that being said - LET’S CELEBRATE this weekend! See y’all Saturday!

We're so excited to recommend The East Bell Taphouse, in Rockdale, to our Lexington guests! Great spot with fantastic service. We enjoyed some Brett's Backyard Bar-B-Que - with Electric Jellyfish on tap!!! Next time going for one of those awesome-looking burgers. Very cool spot and fun time!
