Trekking in Nepal I want to show You Himalayas:

Nepal and Mustang;
tropic jungle and 8000 meters peaks;
Hinduism and Buddhism. Tours to Nepal and Mustang Dear Friends! Join us!
(1)

We invite you to travel with us to Himalayas in Nepal and Mustang. To the places, where tropic jungle unites with 8000 meters peaks, where Hinduism and Buddhism coexist without troubling each other. There are ancient Monasteries, Buddhist Stupas and Yogi caves. We are going to visit those places, we’ll go through mountain trails, dive to antique villages and temples and we will enjoy the greatness

and outstanding beauty of the Himalayas. Nepal will remain in our hearts even if we go there just once and it can change our lives. At least it will enrich our life with bright and memorable impressions. In our program:
– enjoying the great Stupas in Kathmandu - Swayambunath and Bouddanath;
– walking through the tropic jungle, forests and swiming in hot springs;
– traveling through the mysteries of the Prohibited Kingdom of Mustang;
– walking through ancient Buddhist villages, visiting old Stupas and Monasteries Sakya, Nyingma and Kagyu. This region is one of the very few Tibetan territories, where Buddhism has been preserved in the way as it was practised before Chinese invasion of Tibet;
– ascent to Muktinath – this is where Upper and Lower Mustang come together;
– visiting an old Yogi Retreat area – a beautiful canyon with a lot of caves. Some of them equipped for life and meditations;
– climbing Nyu – La Pass (4200 m). From this place the 16th Karmapa and other Tibetan lamas came down after Tibet had been occupied. Your organisers and mountain guides: Tanyushka Dyachenko – working as a coach and mountain guide in Himalayas, Carpathians, Alps and Caucasus since 2011. and Stephan Schmidt – yoga teacher and artist.

In Nepal with its population of about twenty million people there are more than a hundred nationalities.

Despite the fact that Nepal is dominated by only two main types of physical appearance - Mongoloid and Indian - the Nepalese women are quite different: dark-skinned, fair-skinned, with slanting eyes, with European eyes, with rough chopped features, with subtle and expressive features, etc.

Meanwhile, despite all the differences, all the Nepalese women have one physical quality uniting them all - there are no plump or fat Nepalese women.

All Nepalese women are slim and fry. Nepalese women are thin, which gives them a specific sexuality and charm, it also makes them look shockingly younger than they really are.

The route description! Trekking around Annapurna in October!

This trek rightfully deserves its name of one of the most beautiful trekking routes in the world. Our way will go through Himalayan mountain villages, where we are going to eat and stay for a night at the local people in the so-called guesthouses. On the one hand, it is cultural immersion and the possibility to know the local people closer, to live together with them; on the other hand, it is convenient, as we do not have to carry our tents and other camping equipment but only sleeping bags and our personal belongings.

The route starts in the lowlands and gets steeper smoothly and gradually. We are going to start in the tropics, go through all the climatic belts, go over the Himalayas and find ourselves in a beautiful kingdom of Mustang. We are going to visit the most important Buddhist and Hindu temples and stupas in Kathmandu, and on the route – ancient monasteries and caves of the yogi hermits, places for solitary meditations. We will visit one of the most famous Milarepa cave. This is the cave where he spent a long time in meditation. He had promised not to go down to the valley for food until he reached results. And when his supplies were over, he started feeding on the stinging nettles which grew all around the cave. He became very thin and his face got a greenish tint. That is why he is sometimes depicted green in the pictures. Here he got his first experience of Enlightenment and his first students came to him.

In Mustang, we are going to visit traditional Tibetan hamlets, ancient Buddhist Monasteries and yogi caves. We will finish our trek in tropic jungle with hot springs in Tatopani.

Lumbini, the Birthplace of the Lord Buddha 💎

Siddhartha Gautama, the Lord Buddha, was born in 623 B.C. in the famous gardens of Lumbini, which soon became a place of pilgrimage. Among the pilgrims was the Indian emperor Ashoka, who erected one of his commemorative pillars there. The site is now being developed as a Buddhist pilgrimage centre, where the archaeological remains associated with the birth of the Lord Buddha form a central feature.

We all know that the highs of visiting Nepal include the majestic towering peak of Mount Everest, which finally kisses the sky at 8,850 metres. But did you know that 8 out of 10 of the world’s highest mountains are found within the relatively small 143,000 km2 that Nepal occupies? 😳

Banks/ Money / ATM

Normally banks are open between 09:00 A.M. to 3:00 p.m, Sunday to Friday. On Saturdays and other public holidays, they are open for shorter hours and for cash withdrawals and deposits only (not other services). Some banks operate evening counters( till 6 or 7 Pm) in Kathmandu and Pokhara . So , in general you can assume that banks are open 365 days, in Kathmandu and pokhara ( but not in other cities or small towns).

You are supposed to pay in local currency, called Rupees, in the local market for any shopping and payments. However you must pay in foreign currency for air tickets and for visa charges. Airport departure taxes can be paid in Nepali Rupees.

You can exchange your foreign currency at hotels , at banks or your travel agent can do this for you. Foreign currencies like US Dollar, Euro, Japanese Yen, and British Pound are accepted in hotel, travel agencies, restaurants and other establishments easily. However, other currencies are accepted only at banks and we recommend you not to carry these currencies to avoid inconvenience.

Visa and Master cards are widely accepted in the cities , mostly Kathmandu and Pokhara. Bigger hotels and restaurants accept them but smaller hotels and restaurants will not accept them .

There are ATM machines at several places in Kathmandu, Pokhara and some other cities including some at Kathmandu airport. The credit card service charge is normally 3.5% in Nepal. You can also get Nepali Rupees against travelers cheques at banks.

If you are heading for a trek to the mountains, make sure you have enough Nepali cash for your personal expenses. Some lodges in the mountains may accept US dollars but the exchange rate offered is very low.

If you are traveling via India , you can use your remaining Indian rupees in Neapl. However Indian Rupees of 500 denominations are illegal to carry in Nepal and the authorities may confiscate it at the airport.

Hand made, traditional rice paper items are other choice. Kathmandu is a great place to buy both Tibetan and Kashmiri (persian type) carpets.

Nepal is a landlocked country in Southern Asia, between the Tibet autonomous region of China and India. It contains 8 of the world's 10 highest peaks, including Mount Everest - the world's tallest - on the border with Tibet, and Lumbini, the birth place of Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism. 🌺

Not far from Bodhgaya there is a cave, where meditated the great Indian Mahasiddha Shavaripa. There, in a meditation, he met with the main Buddhist protector of the Karma Kague linage, called Mahakala. Since that time the cave is called Mahakala cave.
