The 1st Annual Light Up The Lake 5K/Family 1mile walk run takes place in the newly developed community of Towne Lake. The event marks the beginning of summer and the Grand Opening of the Towne Lake Water Park. This event is unique in that it will take place at night! The Family 1 Mile walk/run starts at 7:00pm and the 5K starts at 7:20pm. The routes will start and finish at the Water Park. The Fam
ily 1 Mile Walk/Run will leave from the Water Park and head North through Vista Shores. This is a very scenic route of Towne Lake. The 5K will be split up between 2 sections of Towne Lake; first, the athlete will run a 2 loop course through subdivision of Creekside then travel south to the subdivision of Vista Shores and you will cross the finish line at the Water Park. Once you have crossed the finish line there will be many activities for the entire family to enjoy out on the lake. Event details and schedule

Arrival Info
Please arrive on time. You will not be able to enter or exit the race site via Towne Lake Pkwy, all participants, volunteers and spectators will need to park at Kroger located at 9703 Barker Cypress Rd, Cypress, TX 77433. Parking Info
Parking is located at the Kroger Marketplace on 9703 Barker Cypress Rd, Cypress, TX 77433. Once you have parked you will need to cross Tuckerton Rd via Towne Lake Pkwy, there will crossing guards to assist participants, volunteers and spectators across the street. Please obey all traffic signs and crossing guards. What to Bring
Everyone is asked to bring the Bib you received at Packet Pick-up and Photo ID. If you have forgotten your Bib, please let a volunteer know and we will get you a new assigned number and Bib. The course is timed, there will be awards after the event is over. Please do not give your Bib away if you are unable to participate in the event, if you would like to transfer your Bib to another participant, please email the Race Director at [email protected] to get instructions on how to accomplish this. Are strollers allowed on the course? Is this a timed event? Will there be finisher medals? Are the shirts gender specific? The shirts are unisex, 100% cotton.
