Last night's snow was gone in the city, but the Buda hills are still covered by snow. A lot of people went up to Anne-meadow for a pre-Christmas sledding. 🛷❄️
Would you expect such a program in Budapest? I bet not. 😉

A beautiful green lizard shedding its old skin. This hot weather is the best for these reptiles, they can enjoy the heat, while there are a lot of insects to eat. 🦎

Fall foliage has already started in Hungary? Unfortunately not, welcome to the age of global warming. There is a serious drought everywhere in the country, and trees started dopping their leaves. Climate change is not a myth, it's reality, we can see it happening with our very own eyes. 🥵🍃🌡️

I miss the mushroom season. 😢 There is a drought in Hungary so there are no mushrooms in the woods at all.
This photo about young panther caps were taken in June, when we had a lot of rain. Hopefully fungi will be back in the autumn. 🍄‍🟫🤞

The Bear-cave is a huge prehistoric cave in the Pilis hills near Csobánka, a truly extraordinary place to hike to. Archeologists found bones of prehistoric animals (like cave bears) and ancient tools of cavemen in this cave. 🐻

Yellow brain. Quite a relevant name for this jelly-like fungus, isn't it? 😄 With the recent heavy rainfalls, there are dozens of mushrooms in the forests of the Buda hills.
