I think it's time to plan another cruise. I'm so excited about this new private island coming to DCL. We love Castaway Cay, but are excited to try something new!

It's hard to believe that in a few short days we will be checking off another new resort at Walt Disney World (we will only have 3 left after this trip to stay at!!!). I've eaten at Artist Point and Whispering Canyon (many times), but I don't know much about their quick service. Who has stayed here and eaten something you love? We usually end up hungry at the end of the day and spend too much time pondering what to order! What is your go to? Anything else you love about this resort?

Oh Disney. Why must you torture me and open all of the new things right after our trip? Toy Story Roundup Rodeo BBQ is set to open in Hollywood Studios on March 23rd. Looks like a rootin-tootin good time to me! Guess I need to schedule another trip!

HUGE HUGE news out of Disney Cruise Line today!!!!!!

Beginning Oct. 14, 2022, for Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, and Disney Wish sailings and Nov. 7, 2022 for Disney Magic sailings, Disney Cruise Line will no longer require Guests to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the time of sailing, however, it is highly recommended.

Marceline Market is the buffet dining experience on the brand new Disney Wish. Right now it’s only open for breakfast and lunch but it’s the perfect spot to grab a relaxing meal in a brightly decorated and relaxing space. The Mickey waffles from the kids bar and the omelet station were my favorites every day.

Continuing posts about the Disney Wish, I wanted to share one of my favorite things about the ship. I love the way they added so many more pools and spread them out across the ship. It made the p**p deck less crowded and the pools as well. And they have two wading type pools with waterfalls where you can really just hang out and relax for a while. And then you have the infinity pool in the adult only area and the AquaMouse. So definitely a big improvement in the water fun!!!! Pro tip: hit the Chip and Dale pool for a little more of a quiet experience in the heat of the afternoon. Most go to the main pool deck for fun.

Finishing up a recap of the 3 main dining rooms on the Disney Wish….our final meal rotation had us in Arendelle for our last night of the cruise. It did not disappoint. The decor was spot on from the movie. The food was so good. And we had a seat right next to the stage and had a great view of the show (which was so cute). Definitely a perfect way to end our 4 night cruise!

Continuing the posts about our experience on the Disney Wish I wanted to show off my favorite themed restaurant ever….Worlds of Marvel. We are huge Marvel fans in this house so we found this restaurant to be amazing. I don’t know if people who don’t know Marvel would feel the same, but we loved it

We were lucky enough to eat here twice. Once as part of our regular rotation and the next night for Pirate Night. I will save that second night experience for a post about Pirate Night.

This restaurant is not only super cool and fun, but the menu was good as well. We loved all of the Marvel touches everywhere from the Avengers emblem on the silverware, to the movie clips and show that rotate through the big screens during dinner. Oh…..and two special guests made an appearance during dinner. It was THE BEST!

We had an amazing trip on the brand new Disney Wish last week. It was so different than any other ship in the Disney fleet (which means it took us a little while to get acclimated). Over the coming weeks I plan to share information about different parts of the ship and give my opinion on each one. I am going to start with the sit down restaurant options as they were my favorite part of the cruise. They are hands down the best of any of the restaurants in the fleet so far.

So let’s start with our first meal. With DCL you are assigned a dining rotation and each night you visit a different restaurant. Our first night was dinner in 1923 and it did not disappoint. The food was soooo good!!!!

This restaurant represents the creation of the Walt Disney Company (in 1923) and all of the wonderful things that have been developed through it. There are two sides to this restaurant. One is themed after Walt Disney himself and the other is after his brother Roy Disney. We were assigned the Walt side for dinner, then we ate on the Roy side for lunch the next day (every day one sit down restaurant is open for lunch so we try to do this at least once each cruise). I really didn’t notice any big differences in the sides. I will put descriptions in each picture of what we ate. As far as food, it was my favorite of all restaurants last week.

I know it has been a while since I have posted, but we've had a lot going on in our personal lives. Today I sent an email blast to my clients, but just in case you missed it, the letter is below. The time has come for me to step away from the job I have loved for the last 7 1/2 years. It was a very very hard decision and I have prayed over it for a few months, but finally feel at peace about my decision. Please see the letter below and know that I will still be around for the rest of the year, but not taking on new bookings ❤️ Thank you to all who have supported me in this amazing journey!

To all of my amazing clients,

I am sad to write this, but the time has come for me to step away from my job as a travel advisor and embark on something new. While I don't know what that new path will be, I do feel it is time to walk away from the travel industry. To say the least, the last two years have been challenging. The pandemic made it very hard to do my job as a travel advisor, and truthfully made me lose my joy for the job. With a big change in our personal life with my daughter graduating high school, the time just seems right for me to leave the industry. This decision did not come easily. I have agonized over it and prayed for months that I was making the right decision. I do feel at peace over the decision, but I am truly going to miss all of you. You will never know how much I appreciated the opportunity to be a part of your vacation planning. To be able to get to know you and your families, and play a small part in creating magical memories has truly been a joy in my life. It was an honor each and every time someone reached out to me.

Thank you to all who have allowed me to work with you in the past 7 1/2 years. I hope you all made some wonderful family memories.

For all of you that still have trips booked with me, please do not worry. I will still be fully servicing your trips as usual. Nothing will change for you. The only change I am making right now is that I am no longer taking on new bookings. Everything that is booked will be serviced 100% as usual so please don't worry about that, or hesitate to reach out with any questions.

That's right! Disney announced details for the return of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party this fall! On select nights from August 12th through October 31st, Magic Kingdom will close early for this exciting event!

Tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party may be purchased online beginning May 18. Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels can begin purchasing tickets as early as May 12. Ticket prices will range from $109 – $199. The event dates are:

August: 12, 16, 19, 23, 26, 30
