New United Kingdom Visa Requirements
Effective January 2025
The United Kingdom will be implementing a new regulation requiring all travelers who do not hold a passport to the United Kingdom or Ireland, to obtain an electronic visa, known as the UK Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA), to enter the UK by air or sea. This will be required for all guests embarking and/or disembarking from the UK, as well as ports of call to the destination. This requirement will take effect on January 8, 2025, for all non-European nationalities that do not already require a visa, and on April 2, 2025, for all European nationalities. Travel Partners are asked to share this information with impacted guests.
Please read this communication in its entirety to ensure you are in compliance with all required travel documentation for your upcoming cruise to the United Kingdom, to avoid any chance of being denied boarding. Failure to present the United Kingdom Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) at embarkation, as outlined below, will result in denial of boarding.
