Rosebug Crochet Designs This page is all about my shop rosebug crochet designs and the things I develop, make, and create though crocheting. He then told me about crocheting.

Hello all and welcome to my page Rosebug Crochet Designs! This page is all about my shop and the things I develop, make, and create through crocheting and I am excited to share it all with you. Here is a little bit about me first,

My name is Erin Snyder and I am hooked on crocheting. When I was eleven years old, I wanted to make something for my mother that Christmas. I had observed how people co

uld make lovely things like scarves, hats, and even some advanced things like shirts and sweaters; but the most I could make was a bead necklace. I know my mother would love it only because it was from me but I knew she would only wear it once and then tuck it away in a drawer. I wanted to make something that she would really appreciate from me and use or wear more than one time. That's when I went to my father for some advice on what to do. I had never heard of this before and he said that he would go to the store and pick up some material so he could show me what it was. The next day he came back from shopping with three skeins of yarn and a crochet hook. This all looked so strange to me but when he started showing me how to do it, it soon turned into a lot of fun. It was still so new and I was slow when it came to the movements of my hands and getting the stitches right but I worked hard at it every day until just a few days before Christmas when I completed my project. I held my very first crochet scarf in my hands and it looked beautiful. When Christmas day came and my mother opened her gift she was amazed at my work. My father was also amazed since he hadn't seen it before that day. They both gave me wonderful compliments on it and told me that I should keep making more items. Now that nine years have gone by and I have gained more experience to enhance my skill and now I feel confident enough to share my art with the world. I want people to enjoy my products as much as I love making them for others. The things that I have been making over the years are scarves, afghans, beanies, baby blankets baby beanies and even dog toys. Recently, I have decided to go a different route though and have started creating amigurumi items. These basically are dolls and other cute things that are crochet and stuffed. I find this to be a bit more fun and cute than just making blankets and so have been spending the past couple months experimenting and testing out patterns. It has been quite a fun experience and one day hope to develop my own patterns. Speaking of patters, I also have recently been developing some for scarves and blankets. They are still in the making but I have been testing out many different kinds of patterns I have come up with to make sure they work so they can be published. I cannot wait to share my products with you all and I really hope you enjoy them just as much as I do.

I have a couple I made for myself just to look at while doing work and I made one for my son who loves playing with the little guys eight te****le. I love them so much!

These are probably my favorite beanies I've ever made. I found this free pattern one day while I was looking up how to make baby beanies and I thought that this would be the perfect thing to make for the crafts fair I attended in November. I made the ones you see here and I also made some boy beanies which I will post up in a minute. They got quite a bit of attention from the people there and I sold quite a few. I was pretty happy with myself! If you have any questions about them please feel free to ask! Id be happy to answer!

Down below is the link to the beanies if you want to see more photos and if you would like to learn more about them!

Look at this Cutie Patootie! Actually that's what I like to call it: Cutie Patootie Fresh and Fruity Apple! I found this pattern from Sedef Imer who owns Down Grapevine Lane on Etsy and when I saw it, I had to make it immediately. I stopped what I was working on before and got to work and later that day, this little guy was born! He is just so cute to me and then I thought, what a great gift for a teacher this would be! Its not up on my Etsy shop yet but it soon will be. In the mean time, please don't hesitate to ask questions if you have any about him. I'll be happy to answer!

I'm sure that you have seen these cute little guys as my profile picture. Well they are also up for sale! I found this pattern on Moho Blog (you should go check out her cute stuff) and I just had to make these adorable little things. I ended up really getting into the pattern though and made a whole bunch: 25 to be exact and I plan on making more once I maybe sell a few.

They are not yet on my Etsy shop yet but I will update the post when they are! They come in 5 different color: pink, yellow, green, blue, and purple. If you have any questions about the product, please ask away! I would love to hear from you! :D

Enjoy these cuties!

These are what I like to call plush balls. I discovered them one day when I saw that our dog Jessie kept ripping apart all her toys and ended up with next to none left. So I thought that I could make her a toy and see how that would fair against her strong jaws. Well I made the first one over 9 months ago and she still has yet to rip it apart! She loves these things and apparently so does my son Alistair. Whenever I give him one he immediately goes to chewing on it. They are even great for decoration, or for kids to throw around... in short they are good for anything you can think of. I love them!

This afghan was in my opinion the loveliest afghan I've made. I not only loved the blue color but I also really liked the pattern and how it came out with a beautifully textured ripple effect. Here is the link that leads to my Etsy shop where you can find more information about the afghan along with more pictures. If you have any questions or comments you can write them down below. I'd love to hear from you guys and get some feedback.

This afghan is one that I am also very proud of. The very first one I made was for my father last Christmas. I always loved how fringe looked an I wanted to try my hand at it on one of my creations. It actually took me a long time which was something I really didn't expect but again the outcome was truly amazing. I actually liked it so much that I made a smaller one just to have around the house. Here is the link to my shop on Etsy if you want to learn more about the afghan and see more pictures. Please leave your comments and questions down below! :D I'd love to hear from you!

This is the first afghan I had ever made. It was for my mother for her birthday but it took much longer than I had originally hoped. Even so, the outcome is this beautiful, cozy, and soft blanket. I'd love to hear from you. :)
