Naturally, we seek gratification where each moment gives you positive confirmation that you are destined to live a beautiful, enriched life. Many times, inspiration is found only in destinations we’ve never seen before. We travel to connect with a diversity of people from all walks of life, each with their own story to tell. We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us. With one life to live, each passing day is precious. We want our communities to experience life and to see the world beyond their backyards. As millennials, we want to live a life of purpose and impact. Our calling is to share our experiences, knowledge, and our connections with the world as Globalized Citizens. How It All Started…
Globalized Citizen began in 2013 from a venture accelerator at the University of Central Florida from our founders, David Freund and Sam Pan, who have an undeniable passion for international adventures. We developed this company from the concept that all young adults should have an opportunity to experience an adventure-packed and culturally immersive tour which benefits local communities and the greater environment. You can say we know a thing or two about international backpacking trips as our entire staff are world travelers themselves. While traveling 60+ countries, our team built strategic partnerships with communities around the world to provide fellow travelers with purposeful and environmentally impactful adventures. Our goal is to bring together like-minded young adults who seek to explore our beautiful world and make a direct, positive impact while doing so! Our first official tour was a 28-day adventure through the best of the Thai Islands. This Thailand Experience sparked an organic demand for a sequential 3-month Global Experience where 25 fellow travelers were immersed in the bustling streets of European Cities, the Ionian Greek Islands, Egypt, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam! We do epic global adventure tours to some of the world’s most beautiful and exotic destinations for young adults. We believe that travel should be stress-free, comfortable, affordable, and inclusive so you can experience more for less. Whether you’re sailing on our exclusive sailboat yachts, having dinner with a local family, or hiking an active volcano, you’ll be sure to have a breath-taking experience every day!
