How I got started in travel
I completed my training in Travel & Tourism in 2004 and joined DayTripper Tours as a part-time Tour Manager shortly thereafter. Most of my experience in the industry has come from my own personal travels all over the world and my love for meeting people from all different walks of life. I have even spent time living abroad learning another language. I am also known as the “Singing” Tour Manager with DayTripper Tours, as I have been playing guitar and singing since I was seven years old, took piano and flute lessons as a young girl and I am an accomplished songwriter with several published CD’s on itunes. I have performed concerts in thirteen different countries as well as all over the United States. On certain over night tours I will even give a Happy Hour Concert for my passengers.
I am a native of San Diego and shortly after completing high school I worked in retail as an Operations Manager for ten years. During that time I attended El Dorado college where I completed a course in Hotel Operations. After briefly living in Las Vegas fate would eventually bring me back to San Diego in 1995 to work in our family’s printing company where I still work today as a full-time Graphic Designer and Pre-Press Specialist. When I have free time I enjoy reading a good book. Although I have no children of my own I enjoy being Aunt to eighteen nieces and nephews.
