🇮🇪 I just returned from an 11 day trip to Ireland. 🇮🇪 The main purpose of th trip was to go to The Eras Tour but we ended up making it a big vacation after seeing Taylor.
We started our trip with 3 nights in Dublin. We toured the Book of Kells and had drinks at the oldest pub in Dublin- Brazen Head.
After Dublin, we took a train to Cork. We toured the Blarney Castle and kissed the Blarney Stone. From there, we visited a beautiful little village called Kildare.
From Cork we took a train to Killarney. We visited Muckross House and climb up to see Torc Waterfalls. We had dinner at an amazing brewery and did the Di**le Peninsula and Slea Head tour.
We were also able to enjoy some real Irish music at Paddy Sheehan’s.
From Killarney, we had a private driver take us from Killarney to Galway with a stop for lunch in Limerick. In Galway we took a ferry to the Aran Islands and explored the island hiking and breathing in some phenomenal views. The ferry then went to the coast to see the Cliffs of Moher.
We had a fantastic dinner in Galway and then next day we were able to explore the SaltHill area of Galway.
We took our final train back to Dublin and spent the night in Dublin before flying home the next day.
Ireland was always in my list of places to visit for years so this trip kind of fell in place for us at the right time.
I learned so much about the different towns, cities and villages and had the most amazing food and met the most amazing people.
