Exciting news! We will be going on a Clia cruise conference in Amsterdam! On this trip we will view the latest river cruise ships- 11 of them! My daughter and I are having a fabulous time exploring Cappadocia - in central Turkey.

It’s not the easiest to get to - two flights in each direction - but omg it’s worth the effort!

We are staying in a fabulous cave hotel - Stone House Cave Hotel - and today we explored the cave castle at Uchisar, and did an incredible hike back from there through Pigeon Valley.

The scenery is of another world - the fairy chimneys formed after volcanic eruptions. People have been carving out the insides of these amazing structures to form homes and businesses for hundreds of years!

What have you got booked (or in planning) for 2024? Or 2025?

We’ve just got back from Swedish Lapland, are off to Amsterdam in March, then I have a fabulous cruise with my Mum to the Azores via the total eclipse on Fred Olsen in April, another cruise with Mum in May on Ambassador around Iceland, a short Virgin Voyages cruise to Amsterdam in September, and we are currently planning our big trip down under to see our daughter who is heading out there in May to work!

Oh and I also have a quick trip to Europe in July - for the Travel Trade Crusade! An event where we drive through multiple countries in 3 days raising money for charity! More of that later as I’ll be looking for sponsorship!!
