OUR STORY : SEEKING PEACE, FINDING BLISS

It all started with three bears (sisters) and one adopted cat (better half) on a holistic retreat seeking peace when hearts were in pieces after a sudden loss; yet chanced upon serendipitous discoveries, breathtaking sceneries and interesting food along the journeys. That was the origin of 'Beary Fun Adventures'.

We thought :"How about sharing what we di

scovered with kindred spirits?" So we created LuCa Travels ~ to specialize in designing and organising heart-based travel while uncovering this Earth that we called home.

LuCa means "Surrounded by Light" in Italian. It is also abbreviation of 2 sisters, Lui & Rica.

Aghazadeh Mansion and its unique wind catcher tower (Badgir) which belong to the Qajar Dynasty (1789-1797). Proudly a historical monument in Iran, the facade of this building has been portrayed on 20000 Iranian Rial bills since 2015.

The Badgir in this mansion is one of the most original and beautiful examples in Iran and all the world. It's 18 meters high and covers an area of 18 square meters. There are 19 air-adjusting vents in the portal of the Badgir which are in harmony and connection with the second wind catcher. This Badgir can do the air-adjustment even if there is no wind blowing especially during dry and hot season. Unlike most Badgirs, this one is a two-storey structure.

The belvedere in Aghazadeh Mansion is decorated by mogharnas to let the light get into the building easily making it brighter.

This complex has 5 historical buildings which 3 of them have been converted to residential units and boutique hotel.

🕌 UNESCO World Heritage : The Great Mosque of Kairouan - Islam's 4th Most Holiest Site, the oldest Muslim place of worship in Africa founded in 670 AD.

This ancient mosque is an architectural time portal that portrays the mixed influences of pre-Islamic, Roman and Byzantine architecture.

The local tradition believes that seven pilgrimages to this mosque equals one pilgrimage to Mecca. This makes Kairouan the 4th holiest city in Islam after Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem.

Listed as UNESCO Heritage Site in 1979, this amphitheatre was built around 238 AD in Thysdrus, located in the Roman province of Africa Proconsularis in present day El Djem, Tunisia. It is one of the best preserved Roman stone ruins in the world, and is unique in Africa. With an estimated capacity of 35,000 spectators, this is the second largest amphitheatre after Colosseum in Rome.

Ever thought of visiting the mystical Tibet in winter? You may think it's crazy to recommend visiting the snowy plateau in winter. However, there are TOP 5 good reasons for taking a Tibet winter tour.

1) Tibet is not as cold as you might expect during the winter season, especially in Lhasa. There are more sunny days than at any other time of the year.

2) Some believe that oxygen level is very low in winter, making it susceptible to altitude sickness. Evidently, oxygen level in winter does not decrease significantly and is similar to other seasons, with the difference being almost negligible.

3) Enjoy the tranquility and unspoiled beauty of winter season without the usual tourist hustle.

4) In winter, more Tibetan swarmed into Lhasa for pilgrimage, offering a soulful and sacred sight of devout worship and up-close encounters with the locals.

5) The visibility in winter is superb compared to summer, casting favourable ambient light for photography and offering an enchanting vista of the surrounding snow-capped mountains.
