Rose Campbell Postpartum Care Providing compassionate postpartum doula care for the Chicagoland area.

Having a postpartum doula can be an invaluable resource for your family in the time after your baby's birth. I specialize in all types of postpartum situations, from home births to hospital births to adoptions and even families who are grieving the loss of a baby. My job is to care for the mother and her partner (and perhaps other children) so that everyone has the inner resources to care for the

new baby. Postpartum doulas can help with breastfeeding, infant care, sibling care, cook nutritious meals, decrease incidence of postpartum blues, and help your family get off to a great start among many other things. I am passionate about families, children, and making this special time in your lives also the happiest! Please look around and visit my Web site for more details about my services as a postpartum doula!

I am changing up things and switching my Postnatal Class at the Grateful Yoga Zoom Temple to Sundays from 8:30-9:30pm instead of in the middle of the day. Let's face it, we love our babies and children but right now we get to see them a whole bunch. Let's meet for some gentle stretching and unwind before bedtime! Sidenote: you don't have to be newly postpartum to take this class! Please come and join us!

Well at least it is something! Eating can help significantly with energy during labor. Make sure you are not downing a cheeseburger though...stick to healing foods like bone broth, cooked veggies, smoothies, cereals/porridges, etc. Happy laboring!

The American Society of Anesthesiologists has reversed course, now saying that eating a light meal during labor is advisable for pregnant women.

As a birth photographer, I’m asked to capture some of the most important stories of a family’s life. I step into their birthing space and document the small and big moments that unfold.
