🇯🇵+🇰🇷HOW TO PLAN YOUR JAPAN AND SOUTH KOREA TRIP:

Dreaming of neon lights in Tokyo, serene temples in Kyoto, and indulging in delicious Korean BBQ? A trip to Japan and Korea is an unforgettable adventure that blends modern marvels with ancient traditions.

HOW TO GET FROM JAPAN TO SOUTH KOREA:
Fast & Easy: A Japan to Korea flight is the quickest option, taking 1.5-3 hours between major cities. Choose from major airports like Tokyo (Haneda or Narita), Osaka (Kansai International), Fukuoka, and Seoul (Incheon). Expect to pay $100-$500 USD (round-trip) depending on the airline and season.

Scenic & Budget-Friendly: A Japan to South Korea ferry offers a slower journey with ocean views. The main route runs between Fukuoka’s Hakata Port and Busan’s Port in South Korea. For this route, there is an overnight (average 9 hours) ferry run by Camellia line or a jetboat operated by JR Beetle which takes approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes. The average adult ticket price is 100 USD (one-way).

Tip: Book in advance, especially during peak seasons. Check baggage allowances and visa requirements for both Japan and Korea.

: A Feast for the Senses

Imagine a meal that’s as much a work of art as it is delicious. That’s Kaiseki, a multi-course Japanese dining experience that’s a feast for the senses.

WHAT IS KAISEKI?
Kaiseki is not just a meal; it’s a harmonious blend of food, presentation, and atmosphere designed to engage all five senses. Typically consisting of multiple courses, it offers diners a sensory experience that reflects the season, the region, and the chef’s creativity.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT A KAISEKI FEAST?
Forget à la carte menus. Kaiseki is a pre-fixe experience, with the chef acting as your culinary guide. Expect 8-12 courses, each a tiny masterpiece. Think sashimi so fresh it practically flickers, melt-in-your-mouth grilled fish, and delicate simmered vegetables arranged like a miniature garden. Don’t be surprised to find a surprise course or two – maybe a seasonal fruit artfully carved, or a whimsical tofu creation.

WHERE TO BEST EXPERIENCE A KAISEKI MEAL?
Kyoto is king for Kaiseki! However, our foodie experiences provide you with other unique and immersive ways to explore Japan's multi-cultural cuisine.
