It once took just a month or two to get a U.S. passport, but covid-19 issues have increased that into a process that can take more than four months. The best solution? Plan ahead and pay the $60 to expedite your renewal. Countries differ on their requirements but as a general rule, passports should be valid for six months beyond the date the traveler will exit the foreign country and return to the U.S.

If you're hoping to travel internationally in the next few months, the time to get or renew your passport is now. The processing time is extra long.

Considering travel to Europe this summer? It's about to get easier! Beginning July 1st for 12 months, all EU countries will recognize a covid certificate for entry. They will be issued free and certify that a person has either been fully vaccinated against the virus, recently tested negative or has recovered from the disease.

EU spokesperson has told CNN that the bloc expects to open the scheme up to non-citizens -- including Americans. Access will depend on individual countries providing certificates for their visitors. More information is expected to be released before the official launch on July 1.

The EU Digital Covid Certificate -- known informally as a 'Covid vaccine passport' -- will be issued by July 1. Here's who's eligible, and how to get one.

It just became much easier to live and work in Indonesia. A special work permit (investor KITAS) used to be the way to get a two year visa but that excluded a lot more people and businesses. This will be much easier and attract a lot more foreign, remote workers.
