TSD's Principals include:

RICHARD SAWYER began is career as an art director for one of the most prestigious advertising agencies in New York. He moved to California where he built a successful career as a production designer for major motion pictures, working with such notable people as Jack Nicholson, Steve Martin, John Landis, Jonathan Demme, Frank Marshal, Steven Spielberg and Oliver Stone. In

1997, he was presented with the opportunity to design The Commons of Calabasas, which won the ICSC Design Award, and thus launched himself into a new career designing retail & entertainment and mixed-use real estate. This was followed by The Grove at the Farmer's market, which also won the ISCS Design Award. Please see the photo section for a full list and photos of projects designed by Richard and TSD Design Group. LEIGH-HERZLICH-SAWYER began her career in the New York fashion industry. She relocated to Los Angeles and embarked upon a career int he motion picture industry, where she became interest in set design. She began taking courses at UCLA, which eventually lead to a successful career in interior design and graphic design. In 1995, she teamed up with Richard Sawyer to create TSD Design Group Inc.
