Gurudwara Hemkund Sahib daily sangat Limitations

Due to heavy snow and rough weather, Uttarakhand Government has put a daily cap of 3,500 on the pilgrim count for Darshans of Gurudwara Hemkund Sahib, opening on May 25, 2024.

Sangat above the age of 60, sick and children have been advised to avoid the yatra for the next fortnight.

Flights for Nanded started from Adampur(Jalandhar), Hindon (Ghaziabad ), Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

There is no flight from Amritsar or Chandigarh.

For Delhi, nearest is Hindon Airport (Ghaziabad).

Foundation stone of Ropeway from Gurudwara Govindghat to Gurudwara Hemkund Sahib laid. Now it will take just 45 minutes of one way travel.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today laid foundation stone of two new ropeway projects connecting Govindghat to Hemkund Sahib and Gaurikund to Kedarnath in Uttarakhand. The projects will come up at a cost of Rs 2,430 crore.
