- Due to its harsh cold and low-oxygen environment, Mount Everest is one of the deadliest mountains in the world.
- Tons of human p**p are frozen on Mount Everest.
- Mount Everest is about 60 million years old.
- Mount Everest was first climbed in 1953

When I took this image I was suffering from Swine Flu and had lost 25lbs on the trek.... There was more than one mountain on that trip!

I'm still get amazed by the beauty, culture, and arts that Venice gives. The ancient buildings are a testament to the city's past, each one telling its own story of the people who have lived here for centuries. The canals running throughout Venice were built both as a means of transport. Murano glass and jewelry are renowned for their craftsmanship. Every shop was full of colorful glass items, each one made with a high level of skill and precision. Nepal holds a special place in our hearts! โค๏ธ It can overwhelm your senses - yet soothes your soul. Looking back reminds me how fortunate I am to have experienced such a diverse country, culture & people. The medical camps were the most rewarding. The Trek to Everest Base Camp thru Sagarmatha National Park (UNESCO) was to die for. The Elephant Sanctuary in Chitwan National Park (UNESCO) was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Iโ€™ll never forget bathing, swimming, and playing with these gentle giants. White Water Rafting was a thrill. The kids loved going out on Phewa Lake in the colorful boats in Pokhara. I will forever feel the laughter, joy, pain and camaraderie these memories bring. Santorini! ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ’™ is a place where you can truly disconnect from the world and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. It is full of white-washed buildings and stunning sunsets that took my breath away. Walking thru Oia, seeing the Three Bells of Fira, and the remains of a 15th Century Fort and hanging out on the cliffs near Zoodochos Pigi Cave gave me a sense of peace and wonder. The views from the edge of the Caldera at Venetsano Winery were stunning with the crystal-clear water, blue skies and lovely wines.
