I’ve been riding bikes my entire life. I spent the year 2015 learning the United States, talking to people, finding their favorite local rides, then riding them. Over the last year of riding through the lower 48 states, I’ve learned and experienced our beautiful country. I covered over 42,000 miles and learned some of the best known, even better, the lesser known rides across the country. Now all

you have to do is select a tour and let me show you the country, we can even design a tour for your vacation length and favorite riding location. Come see my favorite rides and events.

The season is almost over for me. Next week I leave for Newport News Va.and will be there on Friday. So a lot of the seasonal campers wanted to show me that I'll be missed. So the thought the best way to do that was to dress like me. So when I got there I found everybody dressed in plad sporting a ball cap. They made October 15th officially Dirk Day. This is the coolest and touching thing anybody has ever done for me. Thank you one and all, I will deeply miss each and every one of you.

4 days 3125 miles to Bentley's

It was calling for rain snow mix that I've had to ride through on the way to Bentley's so I stopped off in Connecticut. Anybody knows my brother-in-law John would think I stop by so he can wash my bike which he did and I thank him very much. So with the additional stop it was 4 days 3125 MI. Set Fire to the Rain for one day it wasn't that bad a ride out but I am glad to be here. Day 3

I made it to Pennsylvania 2400 miles plus one day of almost all rain. Lost an hour each day for time change not bad. Day two

I forgot to make a video this morning. Only made it about 800 miles yesterday lots of stop-and-go road construction in Arizona New Mexico. I made it to Santa Rosa New Mexico for the night.
